The DINGO pilot survey has the dual goals of testing deep imaging with ASKAP, as well as characterising additional GAMA survey fields.
Pilot Phase I observations focussed on shallow band 2 (16h) observations of the GAMA G15 field, as well as deeper observations of a single tile in G23 in both band2 (53h) and band1 (20h). Further details of these observations can be found here.
Pilot Phase II observations continued with deeper integrations of the single G23 tile in band2 (bringing this to a total pilot survey integration time of 100h) and band1 (also bringing this to a total integration time of 100h). Shallow band 2 (16h) observations were carried out of the second tile in G23 in band2.
